Este trabajo presenta un estudio psicológico del protagonista de Cervantes en El Licenciado Vidriera, en torno al papel de la vergüenza en la identidad psicológica y al fenómeno de la hibridez de identidades. Se exploran los límites entre el espacio textual y el espacio psíquico.

This work offers a psychological study about the main character in Cervantes’ El Licenciado Vidriera (The Licentiate Vidriera or Doctor Glass-Case), and deals with the role of shame in the formation of psychic identity end the phenomenon of identities blending. The limits between textual space and psychic space are investigated.
