Evolução das representações do feminino e do materno em psicanálise: dois paradigmas clássicos e um emergente. David Figueirôa 

Resumen:

O autor pretende evidenciar as mudanças nas representações do feminino e do materno na teoria psicanalítica. Identifica 3 diferentes paradigmas teóricos, formados em diferentes momentos da evolução da psicanálise, usando como critério diferenciador o que designa por “estatuto ontológico do outro”. Parte de dois paradigmas clássicos, o da teoria freudiana (“Mãe-Objecto”) e o da escola das relações de objecto (“Mãe-Função”), para chegar a um terceiro paradigma, que emerge com psicanálise relacional, o da teoria intersubjectiva de Jessica Benjamin (“Mãe-Sujeito”). Procura ainda, evidenciar a influencia cultural e social na construção da teoria psicanalítica mas, sobretudo, o sentido inverso dessa influência, isto é, o potencial transformador que a teoria psicanalítica oferece, não só na esfera individual mas também na esfera cultural e social. A este nível destaca a teoria intersubjectiva de Benjamin como exemplo da articulação entre o individual e o social e o seu potencial transformador, em ambas as esferas, a partir da relação analítica.

Abstract:

The author intends to highlight the changes in the representations of the feminine and the maternal in psychoanalytic theory. He identifies 3 different theoretical paradigms, formed in different moments of the evolution of psychoanalysis, using as differentiating criterion what he denominates by "ontological status of the other". Two classic paradigms, the Freudian theory (“Mother-Object”) and the school of object relations ("Mother-Function"), and a third paradigm that emerges with relational psychoanalysis, that of intersubjective theory by Jessica Benjamin ("Mother-Subject"). It also points to the cultural and social influence in the construction of psychoanalytic theory and the inverse direction of this influence, that is, the transformative potential that psychoanalytic theory offers not only in the individual sphere but also in the cultural and social sphere. At this level he emphasizes Benjamin's intersubjective theory as an example of the articulation between the individual and the social and its transforming potential, in both spheres, from the analytical relationship.
