Resumen:
Hay maneras… y maneras de estar en el mundo. La locura, como la cordura, es una de ellas. Enloquecer, no es sino ser en un mundo. Bien es verdad que cada cual vive en su mundo, y desde nuestro egocentrismo nos construimos el propio… “a nuestro modo”; pero los demás… nos lo entienden. En cambio, y esto es lo desesperanzador, el psicótico vive en un mundo que no concuerda con el del resto de sus semejantes y por lo tanto, y solo en este sentido, es único. Un mundo que no comparte… porque no puede ser compartido. Es así como la soledad de quien padece la locura, es una soledad invasiva… El psicótico vive “en aquel mundo” y no “en este” y es precisamente esa insalvable distancia, la que concede a su realidad el ser particularmente suya, no pudiendo ser de nadie más. Las más de las veces, “aquel” mundo que tiene que crear el psicótico, es un lugar donde poder estar, porque la realidad que le rodea, esto es, “el mundo de todos los demás, este mundo, no es el suyo y ha tenido que evitarlo porque se le hace invivible… por eso se tiene que exiliar a aquel mundo único en el que poder existir.

Abstract:
There are some ways ... and other ways of being in the world. Mental disorder, as well as sanity, isone of them. Going crazy is none other than being in a world. It is true that everyone lives in his or her own world and, from our egocentrism, we build our own world.... we do it "our way" but others... don't understand it. Such as the loneliness of those who suffer a mental disorder; it is a loneliness that overwhelms. However, this takes away everyone's hope, the psychotic lives in a world that he doesn't share with others and thus, in this sense, is unique. It is a world that cannot be shared. The psychotic lives "in that world" and not "in this world." It is this unbridgeable distance which gives his reality the opportunity of belonging only to himself. It can not belong to anyone else. Most of the time, "that" world, created by the psychotic, is a place where he can be, because the reality around him, "the world of all others", it is not his. He needs to avoid it because this world is
unbearable... so he must be exiled in that "unique" world where he is able to exist.
