MUSICOTERAPIA RELACIONAL COMO ESPACIO POTENCIAL EN LA MULTIPLICIDAD DE PERTENENCIAS DAVID LANAU LLARAS 

Resumen:

Como señalan los Grinberg la migración es una experiencia potencialmente traumática. En este sentido, todo proceso migratorio conlleva una idealización por el lugar de acogida a la vez que un sentimiento de dolor por la tierra que abandonan. Como resultado, el migrante vive en un estado desorganizado, de confusión y ambivalencia emocional con efectos significativos en su salud mental, y que en algunos casos deriva en algún tipo de patología mental. Nuestro trabajo en Musicoterapia Relacional trata de acoger la huella traumática que acompaña al grupo de migrantes con el que hemos llevado a cabo las sesiones de musicoterapia. En síntesis, hemos tratado de proporcionar a nuestros jóvenes migrantes un espacio potencial y de transición —entre lo viejo y lo nuevo— en el que reorganizar su sentimiento de identidad, aceptar sus pérdidas y elaborar sus duelos. Siguiendo a Winnicott, en el “juego” creativo de la música, el migrante puede mostrar su personalidad y ser partícipe de la vida en comunidad. Por último, hemos querido revelar que la identidad responde mejor a una multiplicidad de pertenencias que permite transitar las experiencias de vida siendo los mismos a pesar de los cambios.

Abstract:

As the Grinbergs point out, migration is a potentially traumatic experience. In this sense, every migratory process entails an idealization for the host place as well as a feeling of pain for the land they are leaving. As a result, the migrant lives in a disorganized state of confusion and emotional ambivalence with significant effects on their mental health, which in some cases leads to some type of mental pathology. Our work in Relational Music Therapy tries to embrace the traumatic imprint that accompanies the group of migrants with whom we have carried out the music therapy sessions. In short, we have tried to provide our young migrants with a potential and transitional space -between the old and the new- in which to reorganize their sense of identity, accept their losses and elaborate their mourning. Following Winnicott, in the creative "play" of music, the migrant can show his personality and be a part of community life. Finally, we wanted to reveal that identity responds better to a multiplicity of belongings that allows to go through life experiences being the same in spite of the changes.
